I. Weight and Power of the Batteries

12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Kon-TEC batteries are half the weight and provide greater power than traditional lead-acid, gel, or AGM batteries.

 

II. High Energy Efficiency

Our lithium-ion batteries have very high efficiency (approximately 99%) and low internal resistance, allowing for fast charging with low energy losses. In comparison, lead-acid batteries lose power much faster during discharge.

 

III. Full Utilization of Capacity

Kon-TEC LiFePO4 batteries ensure the use of 100% nominal capacity regardless of the discharge current. In contrast, lead-acid batteries provide significantly less usable energy under higher loads. They are usually limited to only 50% of nominal capacity to prevent a reduction in lifespan.

 

IV. Very High Durability

The lifespan of Kon-TEC LiFePO4 batteries is approximately 3000 cycles (full charge and discharge), 4500 cycles at 80% DoD, and 6000 cycles at 60% DoD, depending on the battery discharge. In comparison, a lead-acid battery for photovoltaics at the same level of discharge usually withstands only about 200-300 cycles. The higher the discharge level, the shorter the battery's lifespan.

 

V. Performance Gains

The costs of Li-ion batteries may seem high upfront, but the investment made in their purchase results in significant long-term savings. Kon-TEC LiFe-PO4 batteries provide much greater efficiency and lifespan than traditional lead-acid batteries. Ultimately, this means much lower operating costs, replacement costs, and minimized downtime.

Batteries are equipped with wireless communication, allowing tracking of the battery's charge level and its lifespan through a special application.

DESPITE THE HIGHER COST OF PURCHASING THE 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 KON-TEC BATTERY, IT IS MORE COST-EFFECTIVE THAN A CLASSIC GEL/AGM BATTERY.

 

BMS (Battery Management System)

The battery is protected by a BMS system against improper use, protecting it from:

  • Overcharging,
  • Excessive discharge,
  • Reverse polarization,
  • Overheating, short circuit.

This practically prevents its damage, significantly extending its lifespan. The presented battery can be connected in series to obtain a higher voltage and in parallel to increase capacity. The maximum continuous operating current is 100A.

LiFePO4 batteries can be used in a very wide temperature range from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius.

Unlike other products on the market, our battery for cleaning machines has protection that prevents it from charging in negative temperatures, despite being connected to the charger. LiFePo4 batteries cannot be charged at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius as it may result in damage.
