The high-voltage ASPP MC4 Connector Box 4 mm² (series B) is a fire-prevention housing for MC4 connectors in PV and RES systems. It uses FK-5-1-12 microcapsules that thermally activate above 120°C, extinguishing local ignition sources. The ABS UL94 V-0 and galvanized steel housing provides both active and passive protection.
Optimized for cables up to 4 mm², the system ensures 5 years of active and 20 years of passive fire protection. With IP41 protection and an operating range from -40°C to +85°C, it is ideal for residential PV, utility-scale solar farms, and industrial energy storage systems.
