Energy storage converters, also known as PCS converters, central converters or battery energy storage converters, are one of the key components of large BESS systems. Their main role is to convert DC energy stored in batteries into AC energy that can be used by a company, production facility, agricultural site, PV installation or exported to the electrical grid.
