LiFePO4 12V (12.8V) 50Ah Battery Kon-TEC Heated Pads Edition
There are many advantages to using the Kon-TEC 12V 50Ah LiFePO4 battery:
Heated Pads and Wireless Communication
Kon-TEC MG batteries can be charged at low temperatures (below 0°C).
Integrated wireless communication with the Battery Management System (BMS) provides communication between the battery and a mobile device, enabling real-time monitoring of battery parameters.
I. Wireless Communication
The batteries are equipped with wireless communication. Using a dedicated mobile application, users can monitor the battery state of charge and battery health.
Download the application installation guide from Google Play / Apple App Store.
Alternatively, download the application from our website:

The application package must be extracted on your phone. Then allow installation of the application on your device.
II. 5-Year Warranty
The high quality of our batteries allows us to provide a 5-year warranty.
III. Low Weight, High Power
Kon-TEC 12V 50Ah LiFePO4 batteries weigh approximately half as much as traditional lead-acid, gel, or AGM batteries while providing higher power output. LiFePO4 batteries feature a high energy density, allowing them to store a large amount of energy in a relatively lightweight package.
IV. Fast Charging and High Energy Efficiency
LiFePO4 batteries can be charged quickly, which is particularly important when time is critical. Our lithium-ion batteries offer very high efficiency (approximately 97%) and low internal resistance, allowing rapid charging with minimal energy losses.
For comparison, lead-acid batteries lose available power much more rapidly during discharge.
V. 100% Capacity Regardless of Load
Kon-TEC LiFePO4 batteries provide access to 100% of their nominal capacity regardless of the discharge current. Traditional lead-acid batteries deliver significantly less usable energy under higher loads and are typically limited to approximately 50% of their nominal capacity to avoid reducing service life.
VI. Voltage Stability
LiFePO4 batteries maintain a relatively stable voltage throughout the discharge cycle, ensuring more consistent operation of electrical devices on boats and other applications.
The voltage difference between a fully charged and discharged LiFePO4 battery is only approximately 1.5–2V.
VII. Extremely Long Service Life
Kon-TEC LiFePO4 batteries provide approximately:
• 6,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge (DoD)
• 12,000 cycles at 60% DoD
Battery life depends on operating conditions and discharge depth.
For comparison, a lead-acid battery used in photovoltaic applications at the same discharge level typically lasts only 200–300 cycles.
The deeper the battery is discharged, the shorter its service life becomes. Even after exceeding the cycle counts listed above, the battery will continue to operate, although its performance characteristics will gradually decline.
VIII. Improved Cost Efficiency
Although lithium batteries may initially appear more expensive, the investment delivers substantial long-term savings.
Kon-TEC LiFePO4 batteries provide significantly higher performance and service life than conventional lead-acid batteries, resulting in:
• Lower operating costs
• Lower replacement costs
• Reduced downtime
Lead-acid battery costs are typically spread over one to three years. LiFePO4 battery costs can comfortably be spread over five to seven years.
Comparing one year of lead-acid battery operation with five years of LiFePO4 operation often results in a 2–3 times lower total cost of ownership.
IX. From 12V to 24V, 36V or 48V
By connecting 12V batteries in series, system voltages of 24V, 36V, or 48V can be achieved.
For such installations, the use of a Kon-TEC KT-01 or KT-04 battery balancer is recommended.
DESPITE THE HIGHER INITIAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE KON-TEC 12V 50Ah LiFePO4 BATTERY, IT OFFERS SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER LONG-TERM VALUE THAN CONVENTIONAL GEL OR AGM BATTERIES.
BMS – Battery Management System
The battery is equipped with an integrated protection system against improper operation.
The BMS protects against:
• Overcharging
• Excessive discharge
• Reverse polarity
• Overheating
• Short circuits
• Charging at sub-zero temperatures
These protections significantly reduce the risk of battery damage and substantially extend service life.
The battery can be connected:
• In series to increase system voltage
• In parallel to increase capacity
Maximum continuous discharge current: 50A
The LiFePO4 battery can operate within a wide temperature range from -15°C to +45°C.
Charging
Please note that chargers designed for lead-acid batteries should not be used to charge LiFePO4 batteries.
Lead-acid chargers have a lower peak charging voltage and are generally unable to fully charge a LiFePO4 battery.
Kon-TEC chargers incorporate a dedicated microprocessor and PWM control technology. As a result, chargers from the DL series offer:
• High efficiency
• Stable operating parameters
• Low emissions
• Energy-saving operation
Automatic charging current and voltage control ensures a complete charge without the risk of dangerous overcharging. The battery remains protected throughout the charging process.
